Mindfulness.  Training in Mindfulness will help the athlete develop ways to deliberately pay attention to the present moment, to thoughts, feelings, tastes, touch and sound.  This is an exciting area and Mindfulness may assist in both improved performance and general wellbeing and may give the athlete the  edge.
