Maria Bailey (co-director) is a registered Psychologist.
Maria has experienced first-hand what it takes to be an elite athlete. She has been a professional tennis player on the international tennis tour, State No 1 Junior and Australian National representative (both Junior and Masters Level) as well as an accomplished long distance runner. Maria has extensively travelled the world playing professional tennis including playing American College Tennis at Oklahoma State University.
Maria holds a degree in Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and a Masters in Psychology (Educational & Development). She has published peer-reviewed journal articles in the area of physical activity and mental health and the relationship between gross motor skills, working memory and learning.
Maria is a Tennis Australia Development Coach, and has experience within the Sport Clubs & Fitness Industry, Sport Administration and schools. Maria is a mother of 6 children and encourages sport participation for families to enhance health, wellbeing and promote quality family time.
